Situated in the middle of Greenwich Village, the historic Washington Square Hotel is within four blocks the famed Blue Note, Comedy Cellar and the Village Underground.
Located across from historic Washington Square, the Art Deco hotel built in 1902 and expanded in 2002 features a re created original façade, while mosaic art works by co owner Rita Paul adorn inside walls. The hotel's North Square Restaurant and Lounge specializes in American cuisine with Central American and Asian touches and features 127 international wines. Patrons can also enjoy light fare at the quieter Café Vogue. The hotel also offers a fitness center, massage room, complimentary continental breakfasts, and high speed Internet access in the lobby and café.
The 170 guestrooms provide splendid views of Washington Park, the Empire State Building and West Side. Washed in subdued palettes, the guestrooms include desks, cable televisions, data ports, safes and other standard amenities.
