Hotel Description:
Neo Romanesque stone gargoyles, owls, lions and pelicans adorn the façade of the New York Marriott East Side in Manhattan, N.Y. Constructed in the 1920s, the building that now houses the fashionable hotel appeared in a Georgia O'Keeffe painting, and magician Harry Houdini escaped from a locked box in the hotel.
The New York Marriott East Side is just seven miles from La Guardia Airport and 18 miles from JFK Airport. The hotel is located on Lexington Avenue, close to the United Nations, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, major corporate headquarters and other attractions synonymous with New York City.
