The respected 16 story Excelsior Hotel is located on Manhattan's Upper West Side, near the Museum of Natural History and Central Park. Guests will enjoy the Old New York Charm that abounds in this neighborhood of historic buildings and brownstones. The Excelsior Hotel is within walking distance of many cultural and recreational venues, including the Hayden Planetarium, the Beacon Theatre and Lincoln Center. As gracious as its West Side residential neighborhood, the Excelsior welcomes its guests with a wood paneled lobby graced with beams, chandeliers, oil paintings, fresh cut flowers, and sitting areas with gilt trimmed French style sofas and arm chairs.
